Yes, Naresh's earlier reply did describe how to create a PV of Process Model type and populate it.

But, in Naresh's way,

Doesn't the value(process model) should be always selected only in the property dialog's variables tab(clicking directory)?

[Properties -> variables tab -> select from directory of value]

What I want is like

1) select certain process model from interface

2) run process

3) Have the value of process model passed to the PV

4) add PV(new process model value) to constant

Is there a way to input process model to PV? except clicking process mdoel from teh directory.

The append function works, I just don't know how to call the process model itself into the value and input it.

It would be nice if you give me an example to follow.

(I am able to use the smart service with text and integer type. Just don't know how to use it with process model type)

What you are describing is adding a variable of process model type in the properties of the process and

select the process model through the value directory.

What I want to do is, through the Value of New Value in the Data tab of the properties of the Update Constant.

I want to add my chosen process model to constant.

[ Update Constant Smart Service's Property --> Data tab --> New Value --> value --> Expression Editor --> input the process model that I want to add to the process model's constant array ]

Yes, we can update constant of type process model. Create a process variable of type Process Model and use that process variable to update your constant.

You add new process models manually or you can make new process variable as parameterized variable and pass that value form other process

Hi,

Yes, you can update constant in process model. I would suggest you to save new value in process variable and map that process variable value to new value in constant configuration.
