Thanks for the Clarification. Also I got to know that above mentioned way of using primitive type as array is not recommended by Appian while performing Write/Update operations in DB.

For that, instead of marking that column as multiple, just create two CDTs where Id of 1st table is present in the second. Exactly how we do it in DB with tables.
And I think this is also the recommended approach for the same.
