This can be easily done in a OnPremise Installation, but according to the documentation

RE: JMS on Cloud

Thanks srikanthreddy9369!!! We have considered all the points you mentioned before , and are valid when we connect with an External JMS Server in order to send the messages.

Our concern is related to the way in which we can receive messages, because the Receive Message (External To process) event, without having JMS on CLoud configuration, would not work.

Do you know if it's possible to enable this functionality on Cloud?

RE: JMS on Cloud

Hi David,

To integrate with JMS on a Cloud instance, despite the limited built-in support, you have a few options:

Use External Systems: Connect through middleware or serverless functions to link your Cloud instance with the external JMS service.

Custom Plugins: Consider creating a custom plugin tailored to your needs.

Legacy Smart Services: Explore adapting or using older smart services, even if they are from previous Appian versions.

Third-party JMS Solutions: Look into third-party JMS solutions compatible with cloud environments.

Consult Appian Support: Reach out to Appian's support for guidance and recommendations.

These options provide flexibility to meet your integration requirements in a Cloud environment.
