Yes, it would work. But as far as I see that they have to post the source url. The paste would not work.

Firstly, the a!paragraphField() can only capture/display text. This is explicit in its definition. So you're not going to be able to use this component for capturing a mixture of text and images.

I have not used this plug-in but in the AppMarket I found Advanced Rich Text Editor (Vuram). This appears (from the documentation) to do what you're asking for.
