The Availability Group will be stretched across two subnets

RE: SQL Server 2022 Requirements

SQL Server 2022 brings powerful enhancements, but it’s important to align system requirements with your Appian environment. Make sure your hardware, OS, and SQL configurations meet the performance needs. Proper planning now can prevent issues during deployment and ensure smoother integration with Appian’s features. I’ve used a few services before, but none were as smooth as Academized. I went through https://academized.com/ and requested a paper on gender studies. The writer had deep knowledge of the topic and was happy to revise one paragraph I wanted tweaked. If you need an essay writing service that actually listens, this is the one to go for.

RE: SQL Server 2022 Requirements

Just two quick question for you before I dig out some other info ...

1. Is this an on premise installation of Appian or Cloud,

2. Are there any patterns currently in your organisation for use of SQL Server as an RDBMS for a web application or is this the first?

RE: SQL Server 2022 Requirements

Thank you, but this document did not answer my questions.

The article does not tell which features of the SQL Server installation are required, if Appian supports SQL Always on Availability Group, if I need the Client Tools SDK or what permissions are required for the account that connects the application server to my SQL Server.

I have an additional question

Can the Appian web server connect to my SQL Server using an Active Directory Account or must it use the SQL Login.

I look forward to hearing from you.

RE: SQL Server 2022 Requirements

Hi Jeffrey, hopefully these documents will be useful. It depends on whether you are a cloud or on prem Appian installation for some of this to be relevant, but hopefully it gets you started ...
