Hey Tim, do you have any examples of Exchange 2010 Web Service integration use cases you've tested from Appian? I would be interested to hear about them, since I've only ever tried the Exchange 2007 Web Services, which were not particularly easy to configure.

Exchange Server 2010 publishes a load of activities as webservices so these can be called from the WS node and gives more functionality than the iCal option.

In Shared Components there is a plugin available for creating iCal appointments.
