Thank you Chetan and Chandrasekhar for quick response,
I am using 16.2 and documentation for this version also mentioned the smart service.
( forum.appian.com/.../SAP_Smart_Service.html ). Reason why I post this, but thanks again I got the answer.

@chandrasekharg , It seems that the Hotfix is not installed. Even I have 16.3 on my machine, but it is not showing up. In the hotfix release notes, its mentioned under Hotfix A

I can see that smart service under Connectivity services Category. and we are using 16.3, Are you using 16.3?

I think it was included in Hotfix B of 16.3.

Seems like it was filed as a bug.
