as Stefan Helzle said it's possible that user will get the list only if user is the member of the group.

"Restricted" always depends on the user in the role of the initiator of that process instance. If that user is a member of the group, then yes.

But same time I just want to know, like if the visibility set as Restricted then in that case is this possible to get the member list in process model.

Hi Hari Kishore Reddy,

I hope you have resolved the issue. I encountered the same problem today and here are the steps I took to fix it:

The issue occurred because I used a group in my email that had restricted visibility. Please change the group’s visibility to public.

To do this, check the group’s properties and set it to public if you are using it in the email node.

Hi Hari, typically it is best to create a new thread with your issue - this one is 8 years old. Likely any posters from 8 years ago will not answer your follow-up via this thread.

However, we can run into this issue when Group Visibility is set to be too restrictive. I typically set groups to be Public and handle any visibility concerns manually as needed (rarely).

I am also getting exactly same issue. I have used From as "Process Designer", but still no luck.

The process node will run with elevated privileges due to the fact that a System Administrator is the person importing into the production environment

Hi, I have a query here. In Development environment this sounds good. But how about the actual production environment? Do we have to create an account for the Designer in Production environment too? For eg, I design and publish the model, but I would not be a part of the user group in Production. How would the process behave in that case?

Hi, Karla,
Try this: From the assignment tab of the "Send E-Mail" node, select "Run as whoever designed this process model" instead of "Run as whoever started this process." Save and run again.
