The Appian Credential Exams test knowledge on the latest release of Appian. For Lead Designer applicants we recommend a year of project delivery experience along with completing the Designer and Advanced Designer classroom courses.

Hi pavanik,
Practice 17.2, but it do make very minimal difference with 16.3 version.Better if you have worked with Appian applications thoroughly at least for a year around before registering for lead designer.

4) AGILE methodologies, SCRUM
5) best practices
The above mentioned might help you for prerequisite exam.

Prerequisite : You must pass the Analyst credential before attempting Designer and must pass the Designer credential before attempting the Lead Designer credential.
you can check your eligiblity by clicking on Actions>>Register for Exam. It will show the one which you are eligible for .

Definitely advisable to study 17.1, but it doesn't make too much of a difference from my experience. The exams typically deal with core functionality, as opposed to nuanced upgrades with new releases. They are testing your knowledge of the Appian platform, not your ability to study the release notes of a few week old release.
