Currently we don't have a solution for this until appian fix this, But recently i had created a personal worrkspace account using my secondary ID, with Germany server, Everyhing is working fine(didn't see any issues), if someone looking to have hands-on, you can try germany server, but understand, there will be latency, unsupported features etc. This is one of the solution, if you want to start from scratch/explore.

Happy to help if anyone needs guidance for creation.

Rendering Line Breaks in PDF

Hi All,
I am using the PDF from DOCX custom plugin to convert a generated word file into a pdf. The contents of the word file are a series of text that contains line breaks between them. When the pdf file is generated, the line breaks are not properly carry over. Is there any kind of delimiters or notations that i can includes in the text so that line breaks can render properly when displaying as a pdf. So far, i have tried replacing the line breaks with <br />, <w:br />, \
, \\r, \\r\
without any luck. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with transferring my Appian certifications, Academy Online achievements, and badges from my current organization account to my personal account.

I have already reached out to multiple teams, including Appian Technical Support, Appian Community, Academy Online support, and the Certifications team. I was informed that the request would be resolved within two working days. However, it has been longer than that, and I have not received any proper response or update despite multiple follow-ups.

Has anyone faced a similar issue before? If so, could you please guide me on how to get this resolved or whom to contact for faster support?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please more specific about the resolution or it would be great if you help out what to exactly. Even I tried to troubleshoot but no issues shows up. But unable to view any record type record lists or interfaces.

I am facing the same issue its not only at the interface layer even the record list of newly created record type is throwing same error. So it must be some upgrade issue.

For anyone who is coming to this old post, the correct answer is to do this:

  local!availabilityResponse,
  {"body","resources","type"},
  {}
)

This will return the three fields when local!availabilityResponse is not null, or an empty list when it is.

Hi,

I've found in an existing code application this function called with 5 parameters (please see below).

But the Appian documentation says that the Property function must have 3 parameters only. This code works, but throw an error in Design mode (exactly like the "if" function which can take more than 3 parameters).

How would you replace this code ? with additional if conditions ?

Hello All,

I have a requirement where user can open the ui and redirects to the url that was mentioned in the ui and can change the data in the new tab.

After changing the data. we are giving an buttonwidget in the ui to refresh a variable to know whether data had changed or not. It returns true or false based on the actions done in the different tab.

But the problem I am seeing button is not working as expected.

Below is the code

On the above i am getting the data from the database to check data is updated or not and storing in the refresh variable. the problem here is first when user clicked on the refresh , refresh variable is storing the expected value. but later if i change the data and click on the button again it still having the same value. i doubt whether button save is working or not beacuse when i open the actual rule its giving the correct boolean value.

What i observed is if ri!refresh had a value already. its not saving again. The thing is i am testing this in normal designer ui. not even in site.

Can someone pls help on this?

It is not a code issue but there seems to be an issue in the Appian Community Edition as the same error is shown in all interfaces having recordData configured as data for gridfield(). Other grid having local variables with list of record Types are working fine though!

Looks like recent upgrade has caused some issues. Suggest you to drop email to communityedition@appian.com informing them about the issue so they can look into this!

Try this,
Open LIS Supplier Record Type and manually full sync.
Open record type and fix list grid columns data.
As i can see banner on top of your screenshot seems to be a upgrade issue please wait meanwhile appian fix it.

Caches expression rule results when inputs don't change. Since ri!id never changes, the rule returns cached value every time.
Add a dummy refreshCounter input to bust cache:

Do you use any local variables in SD_IsDataChanged? If yes, add a refreshvariable set to refresh always to prevent Appian from caching the value instead of repeating the query.

I am trying to create a personal account, but I am receiving an error saying that an account already exists. I forgot my password, and when I try to use the “Forgot Password” option, I am not receiving any reset link to my personal email ID.

I requested the transfer of my credentials, Community and Academy achievements, Academy historical training data, and Community activity history a couple of days ago. However, the transfer has not yet been completed. Typically, this process is finished within two working days, but it seems to be taking longer than expected.

Could you please let me know how much additional time it will take? Also, is there a toll-free number I can contact for assistance?

Additionally, I would like to know whether it is okay to leave the organization before the transfer of my credentials, Community and Academy achievements, Academy historical training data, and Community activity history is completed. If so, how can I continue to receive communications that are currently being sent to my organization email after I leave?

Is there a way to update my email ID in the community profile so that all future communications can be redirected to my personal email address?

Could someone please assist me with this?

I would suggest you contact community@appian.com first and follow their instructions. They may or may not want you to open a new account first.

Yes create your account in community first then request for transfer.
