Is it compatible for Appian 19.3 cloud? I am able to generate the meeting Id with the help of this smart service, but there is no mail sent to the required recipient.

If memory serves, I did this for a customer in the past.

You shouldn't need to convert the txt to ics. just save your template as ics.

Also, keep in mind that you are designing against an external standard. The template generated ics "should" work fine, but there's no accounting for nuances in the original expected behavior of these files.

I have the same issue and i dont know hot to integrate the smart service "Send Meeting Request" to my process model and make it work, wait for answer

I am running into a similar issue. I am trying to send out a meeting request from the smart service, but I need to include myself in the "To:" input in order for me to get the meeting. But since I am the organizer and a recipient, Outlook does not enable me to accept the meeting and put it in my calendar. Has anyone come up with a way to generate the ICS text from the Generate ICalendar smart service, then put the text into an ICS file and send it out?

Yes,I have tried this smart service,and it sends out the mail to the recipients.Make sure the recipients has a valid email id.Do check your environment email mail sending configurations.

inder_arora One reason for email not sent is to check the Email setting in the admin console, if that is not the issue just check the log files,it will give you the root cause of the issue.

Hi,
I used "Send Meeting Request" smart service by passing in the values. But when i run the process the process works fine but there is no mail sent to the required recipient. Have you tried this smart service?

You'll probably need to write your own custom plugin to change a document's file type programatically. A workaround is to enable a user to download the file, have the user change the file type, and then capture the updated file in a file upload field.
