According to me, use a!documentDownloadLink() function to download appian internal documents and if it is the case of downloading the documents from third party systems go for"Http File Download smart service" .

Hi Parag,

"Http File Download smart service" is used for downloading documents from third party location. And if you want to download the appian internal document then use a!documentdownloadlink().

This smart service is used to download the files from external services(Third party systems) like some other document management system and store it in Appian. If you want to download the documents internally from Appian, you need to use a!documentDownloadLink() function.

The node outputs a newly created document and stores it within the Appian's document management system.

If you want to download a document already in Appian's document management system, you can use the a!documentDownloadLink function within an interface: docs.appian.com/.../Document_Link_Component.html
