 We have a requirement where we need to render a document(mostly PDF) on a browser window.

AFAIK there is no way to edit the document in appian. For this you have to use &amp;quot;abode pro&amp;quot; tool  is available.Once the document is edited. You have to follow the steps described by ekanshj.&lt;br /&gt;

Set the header: Content-Disposition: &amp;quot;inline&amp;quot; to open it in the browser window. If the browser supports it, the PDF will open in a new tab, otherwise it will download the file to be opened natively.&lt;br /&gt;
