The error message essentially tells you to check (or have a network admin check) whether the Appian server can connect to the URL you have provided to it. It might be possible that the configuration of the server or connected firewalls prevents it from connecting to external systems. Have you checked that with your system admin? Is the installation cloud or on-premise?

Hi Marcel,
Thanks for the response. Could you elaborate on (local) DNS? I am able to successfully ping from browser IE and chrome but not from my application.
