(see &lt;a href="https://forum.appian.com/suite/wiki/73/Configuring_Relational_Databases)"&gt;forum.appian.com/.../Configuring_Relational_Databases)&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ideally, you should try to create a JNDI configuration where the connection is established instead of manually entering the secure credential at design time.
