Hi Eduardo, I am exploring various options of passing documents from Appian to IBM FileNet P8. I have a rest service (custom service using FileNet API) and able to call from Appian integration successfully, I am now in process of invoking FileNet P8 CMIS using Appian CMIS connector functions.

and that is not functional.

Any help in pointing to documentation specifically passing user/password via CMIS call could be gr8 help.

We went ahead and wrote a custom CMIS plugin for this based on Apache Chemistry- very easy to do

Cannot be done with the CMIS plugins directly. You have to loop through the folder and get a handle to the newly created object. Or use the getObjectByPath function since you already know the filename, but again a second call to the service is needed

Eduardo, the documentation in forum.appian.com/.../Connectors mentions that "Writers do not return a response". If I were to push a file into a CMIS repo from Appian I would need the objectId of the newly created file in the CMIS repo back in Appian. If the writers don't return a response, how do we achieve this? Or am I missing something obvious here?
