&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Test API outside Appian if API works as expected - this confirms your configuration like URL, service account details etc are correct&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Once configuration is working as expected outside Appian but not in Appian then check network/ infrastructure settings for permissions.&lt;/li&gt;
