No the enhanced data pipeline is only for forwarding the data to an external system. However, there is actually a new feature released in 21.3 that allows you to define additional schemas in Appian Cloud and limit the access for users to those databases: docs.appian.com/.../appian-cloud-database-administration.html

Hello Peter, Is it also possible to create user with read and write privileges using Enhanced Data Pipeline?

Are you asking about having a user from outside of Appian access the MySQL Cloud database? Outside of the Enhanced Data Pipeline that Peter Lewis mentioned, you can't establish something like a direct JDBC connection to that database. An alternative would be to set up a VPN connection to an external database and keeping your Appian data there.

The best way to do this is through the Enhanced Data Pipeline. Appian support will create a new read-only user that you can then you to connect to Appian data from external systems.
