There can be multiple reasons for it, all related to security. Some of the most common are -

You are not a part of the group which has security to the record.

You are a part of the group but you are not included in the record-level security

You need to check the Security of the object whether you are part of the group or not

It was a "bad" task link... the issue is now resolved (by an expert) however I was clue less in the situation as there is no information provided by the system.

I believe it makes sense to provide some information which will lead me to solution.

Can you explain in which situation are you getting a 403? Is it while accessing a site?
