I know about the Task Report but that document does not explain what each of these status means, orhow a Task can has the respective status.

Only clear about - Assigned, Accepted and Completed.

Please explain which each of the following means or WHEN can a Task have each of these status -

3. Not Started,
4. Cancelled,
5. Paused,
6. Unattended,
7. Aborted,
8. Cancelled By Exception,
9. Submitted,
10. Running,
11. Error

Hi there,

There isn't much relation between the task statuses but with the link that the above commenter shared, you should be able to find more about the tasks.
Also, because you will now be working with the task reports, below is the list of all the tasks with their statuses that you will need.

0. Assigned,    
1. Accepted,    
2. Completed,    
3. Not Started,    
4. Cancelled,    
5. Paused,    
6. Unattended,    
7. Aborted,    
8. Cancelled By Exception,    
9. Submitted,    
10. Running,    
11. Error

Also what is the difference between some of them that looks similar in their intention.

Example Completed versus Submitted.

I want to understand which of these status are directly related (moving from one state to the other state).

For examples, a Task can move from Assigned to Accepted; a Task can also move from Assigned to Paused.

So what are ALL the possibilities of these relationships?.
