In Appian the document can be assess using its Id, once you upload any document, you need to store its document Id to a process variable and pass it down to process model for further processing.

Hi,

As Gopal mentioned, you need to create a process variable to save the uploaded document form user input task to process model. You need to map user input nodes to activity class variables(you can activity class variables from use input task data --> input) and map this activity class variable to process variable.

HI nikhil40827, You must be using rule input to store doc id of uploaded document right. So in process model, map the rule input with corresponding process variable in Data tab of UIT node, and save doc id in process variable. Once you save the doc id in pv , you can use it through out the process.
