If what the user reads is related to a record, you can create a record action for 'Acknowledge Item' and have that open in a pop-up.

Hi,

If you are looking for a solution to write acknowledge information into DB and you want to show this acknowledge information in pop up screen you can try this approach if it meets your requirement.

Create a process with start form with your acknowledge message with a submit button.
- If you want you can right acknowledge confirmation to DB when user submits this form
Call this process as a related action in your interface, and when user clicks on this action open this action a pop up screen. When user clicks on this action they will see acknowledgment message.

this might not be the best solution, but you can try.

Or, just as Stewart Burchell said you show the message to be read and confirmation controls, but instead of hiding the other inputs you could also disable them. The message and confirmation can go away, or get a green background, or whatever you want, and then you enable all the other controls on the form.

Is there some activity that the user performs to cause the message to appear, or is it as soon as the form loads? If the user does something to cause the message and confirmation to appear, that can open up some more opportunities to customize how it displays.

You can hide the content of a user interface (except the acknowledgement checkbox) and the content is made visible when the user acknowledges the presented content. Or, instead of hiding, you can display a card layout )coloured in grey) and in this have the components that contain the text that needs to be read and to capture an acknowledgement. You can use the acknowledgement to hide the card layout and contents and simultaneously display the actual content.

I don't know of any direct way to do this specifically, though if you familiarize yourself with existing interface funcitonality and options, i'm guessing you'd be able to figure out an implementation that satisfies this requirement (though perhaps with a slightly different design) using existing components.

Like if someone reads something he has to acknowledge that through a pop-up. Until he acknowledges the entire screen will be greyed out except the notification

Can you specify what you mean by "modal pop-up"? What particular use case are you trying to accomplish?
