You can use the submit as true and re assign the same task to next assignee by setting the next assignee in a script task

Task->Script task (set assignee)-> Task

This will also keep an audit of who is currently working on and the time of assignment

You can use the showwhen condition to hide it and for assigning you will need to use the process model. for submit button you can use a!startproccess that will execute whatever assigning you want to do.

Hi Samarm,

On click of submit button the task should be assigned to someone else and it is not visible to the previous assignee.

Hi Shubham, the submit parameter should be set to true in your button widget. Hope this is what you are looking for and not cancelling the task instance.
