It is the "Read Excel Plugin". I would like to know if there will be any replacement for this plugin in the new version of Appian or if there is any information that you can share regarding

RE: Information about a plugin

Our issues were specifically with the getdatasubsetdownloadlinkfromprocess function, as both Excel Tools and Download DataSubset (Cloud) plugins reference it.

You're probably in the clear if you're not currently using this.

RE: Information about a plugin

Be very careful when considering to deploy the new Excel Tools plugin. It does not play nicely with existing Excel-related plugins.

If you don't currently use any of the old ones, you're in the clear, however, don't attempt to deploy the new one on top of the existing ones. In my experience, this resulted in conflicts that are difficult to resolve.

RE: Information about a plugin

Although the plugin has been deprecated, the functionality is now part of "Excel Tools" plugin along with other functionality that has been brought together to combine Excel related functionality. While another plugin (Downloaddatasubset) was deprecated and the functionality was migrated over and the functionality remains the same, the read excel plugin functionality needs to be refactored to use the "Excel Tools" plugin, which handles it slightly differently.

RE: Information about a plugin

Please check if this plugin is useful to you as it is having read Excel File Expression in this as mentioned in features

forum.appian.com/.../summary
