You will need to carry out the canning using a third party scanning software. You can easily import the scanned documents into Appian using file streams through web services (Appian handles this part very well). As for the capture process, verification, zone edits, you will need to continue using a third party scanning tool. Not all scanning tools export via web services but I know that Kofax and some other ones do.

Yes, I want to verify the documents as well as I want an image of the document ie. the scanning feature which we usually perform with other third party systems/apps.

Do we have any similar plugin in Appian.

Thanks, Monika

RE: Is there a plugin available to scan a document in Appian

Hi Monika,

Scan means what, can you please elaborate? I think we do not have such type of Objects in Appian.

If I am correct you need to check/Verify documents details.

Thanks,
