If possible, can you request the API team to change it to binary instead of base64? Appian handles it well.

I am getting base64 format from external service, i have to convert that into image and show it in UI

I could only find this plugin which offers it but requires the base64 string in the Db - Base64 Document Database Integration

Or you will have to use the external service.

Out of curiosity, where are you generating this base64 from?
