@sally - is there any replacement for the "Any document type to PDF"? The link from your comment is now broken. I have a customer requesting the feasibility of exporting a list of arbitrary document types to PDF, and if this worked and was still available anywhere it would be key to accomplishing that.

Yes, I've actually used those components in the past. In my experience those plugins require quite a bit of development and have some caveats.

Right now we are having users generate snapshots at specific steps of the process. This is the approach recommended by Appian (see forum.appian.com/.../Generating_Documents.html). However, it would be nice to have automation in this respect to improve user experience and data integrity.
