Hi apoorvam ,

Please verify the configuration for the parameter "Constant" in the smart service. You need to Browse & Select the target Constant but not using the Expression Editor. If you have done it using the Expression Editor, please correct it because it reflects the value of the constant instead of Constant over there.

From the documentation of the plugin :

"you should use the picker or autocomplete to select the constant inside Update constant smart service. You can also use a custom expression function plug-in that returns the desired constant.
Note: Do not select the constant from the Rules and Constants tab in the Expression Editor."

I was trying to do the same and I am able to update the constant. But I have configured the constant from the picker and not from the expression editor toggle (check below image). Please try the same.

I think you have selected the constant from Rules and Constants tab in the Expression Editor. You have to select the constant by clicking on search icon.

Hi Apoorvam,

I'm agree with Santosh. You have to click search icon button then automatically added constant name without "cons!". Don't click expression editor it is added "cons!" that's the reason your getting an error in "constant id null".

Hey Apoorva,

Please try giving constant from the directory, search for the constant in the directory and select the required one, in directory it will show only existing constants.

I have added the constant from the search button and when you close the search box, it appears as "cons!" in the input field.

Hey Apoorva,

No need to mention cons! as prefix while selecting the constant in the node input, So remove that and select the constant from search button.

Hi,

Please cross-verify weather you have given the correct constant name, because error message says that Constant is not exist or wrong. So cross-verify once more time may be you have chosen/written wrong name.
