Please test in separate process for a new task for a single user, is escalation working there? If not , connect to your Appian admin team as this might be your SMTP server configuration issue.
Additionally, check your same email constant in "Send Email" smart service. If that is working then issue might be with your constant type.
All these test will lead you to root cause then only you will find appropriate solution. Thanks

in Recipients.

Hi,

Please re check below once,

1. Whether the email server configured or not by clicking on forgot password from login page.
2. Click on edit and recheck the days mentioned correctly in Timer Event field.
3. Check the constant once whether created as email type or not.

Hi Ramanan,

As per your attached screen shot every thing seems to be configured well .Before Appian can send or receive emails it is required to configure Appian to use your email server.Follow the configuration steps to send email if it is not configured. Please go through this link for further assitance.

Whatever configuration you have mentioned above is correct only.
1) Please check your admin team regarding your email relay whether it is ON or not.
2) try to use Send Email Smart service for testing purpose, it will give you an idea about your email service.
