Firstly, clear the temp folder of your server then check (Window Start ->Run-> %temp%). Still objects are not loading, In such case, you need to increase the RAM size of your server system. Thanks.

No I am the admin and I have started the server.
I am able to access designer or design views but objects were not loading . Hence couldn't make any changes to stp this issue.
That's the reason for looking , is there a way to search and delete that instance from server ?

I am the admin of on-premise dev environment.
thanks for the steps , but to do all those I need to bring server up. Server is starting but due to heap space issue and having running process instances not able to open anything from /designer or / suite/design or /tempo.

Hi Soujanya,

Is your environment on cloud and Appian team reported you regarding heap space issue or you are an admin of your on-premises environment?
Anyway, Answer to your question there are below ways,
1) If you are designer- you can filter the process and kill/cancel the active instances manually or terminate the process instances.
2) Admin can put the timer off and restart the server( no more instance will be created).
3) Design a parallel timer based terminate node in the process model and modify archival setting. Hence after configured period, the timer will execute and terminate the process (For new instance).
4) Implement in-flight modification if it is possible for you.

Hi Soujanya,
How did you determine the java heap space issue has occurred because of the process model which runs daily?
Does that process is hitting any huge number of Sub Process?
Does the Process is executing in peak time of business hours?

Hi,

It seems you are a Basic user and not an admin for your application,hence not able to access Appian Design or Designer.
Please check with your admin and ask them to make necessary changes(remove timer in the PM) to stop running the process permanently.

Hi,

If you are on cloud, you can ask Appian cloud team to cancel the instance. If in house then server restart can fix it.
And for permanent fix you can disable the timer or change the timer to trigger the process model at non business hour.
