Hey Arun, typically when something like that happens it's because someone else in the group already accepts the task. If not seeing the process instance may help in debugging the issue.

Hey Arun,

Can you provide a screenshot of the monitored process? This error message can appear for several reasons, and seeing the process instance could help debug. Potentially the user input task could have followed an exception flow which would result in the "task being completed"? I have seen that scenario several times before.

I need to know one more thing, in assignment are you giving only group name or supervisor(pv!groupName), if your are giving through supervisor function , you may get the same error as you mentioned.

Hi Arun,

I just have one quick query, Are you sure that no one in the group is already accepted the task? If the answer is no then could you pelase try creating the dummy group where you are the only one part of it and then try run and test it and let us know the results.
