I had an issue with the remote directory path as well. The documentation for the smart service say the Remote File Path is what you want to name the document on the server you are sending it to. This will place the file in the root directory. I got it to work by listing the directory path along the the document name and extension. It would look something like this "/test/docname.txt"

don't prefix your server name with ftp://, just server name is sufficient.

Is /TEST real location on the server?

When i pass "/TEST" which is my destination path i got this error "@nolicapp-tst" which acutally is name of my server host name... but still i got failed in status when i passed something else my error was " Stream handler unavailable due to: For input string: "21ftp"

What is the "some kind" error?

your smart service configuration looks fine to me except Remote Directory path should be the destination path where you want to place the document on the FTP server. With "/", you are trying to place file on the root directory.
