I go the issue, i did copy pasted this Execute Procedure from other PM and there was a another smart service of the same sitting on one corner of the PM designer, throwing the warning.

Can you double-check that the Cancel node is actually connected to the flow line going to the end node? The easiest way to check would be to drag the Cancel node up a few spaces temporarily.

I do have a node connecting from Execute Process smart service and End node(Terminate)

Hi ganesh,

But the error statement says Node named 'Cancel' is not configured with exit flow. And as Mike stated, exception flow is different from exit flow.

As in the example provided by divyas, an exception flow is not a replacement for an exit flow. You would need to configure both in any such case.
But per Robert's feedback above, you should probably not bother having a timer exception on your procedure node anyway.
If you feel like we're still misunderstanding your use case, then I would request you post a screenshot of your process flow in a new reply.

Hi -
Avoid exception timers on tasks that are prone to error or unexpected behavior.
An exception timer is not a solution to a problem in a remote system.
If your stored procedure times out so frequently that it's an issue, then it's that procedure and how it's used needs to be addressed.

I suggest you review this post (all the way to the bottom).
There are a number of details and illustrations therein that describe effective use of exception timers.

An ideal use for an exception timer is on a user input task that should be completed within a specified time frame.

The Node named Cancel does not have an exit flow. Kindly please add some exit flows from the cancel node.
