A database view is an object that is defined by a query. It is a way to filter, join, aggregate data in a “predefined” way. Then, you can map an Appian CDT to it do you can access it like you would a table.

Not sure I understand...

1. Do you have business requirements on the future state model

2. Is the model mapped out a to level 2 in BPM terms

3. Then when designing a level 3 (executable), apply best practices like

A. Follow data driven design for short lived, where possible

B. Keep pm light (limit modes and PVs and chaining)

C. Apply security and data mgmt

These are just a few to start..
