Hi Deepthi

An Appian process model is a very technical implementation of a real-world business process and probably won't mean much to the end users, specially if you implement in a more Record-centric paradigm.

You'd be better off working with the business to define an abstracted representation of the process as a series of milestones and then use the a!milestoneField() in an interface to render that representation.

Hi Deepthi,

As far as i know, there is no component available for us to embed the process model execution path as we look through Process Monitoring console. You can try different milestone components to highlight the process completion status as Vinay mentioned.

If your client still insist on having that sort of diagrams, then may explore custom solutions using Java or javascript libraries to build that sort of diagrams using state changes. You can have a look at the following link to start with https://jgraph.github.io/mxgraph/javascript/index.html

Hi Deepthi,

You can capture the change and show the same in the form of status in a milestone component which will be easier for the user to understand the changes the case went through in the process model.

Our users want to see the path that the case went thru in the process model. Their existing platform shows that so wondering if Appian can do the same
