Migration of processes is almost impossible and not worth the effort. Take the invest to start fresh. Migration of data is as with any other system.

I think there is a plugin to import some form of BPMN. But that does not result in a working process but in a bunch of nodes which you must configure one-by-one. And typically the way of designing processes is different for each system. In the end you would have a process which does not fit the Appian system.

Ok Stefan, I try to better explain: we have to migrate from a legacy system not made in Appian and I was making some assumptions about how I might approach the problem of switching existing business process instances to new Appian applications. Please note that I don't really know what components the legacy system is made of yet, so i am just guessing at a very early stage to give some kind of estimate. I understand that I am giving poor information.

For me it is unclear what the actual question is. Is it about data migration on DB level or about migrating one Appian environment to another? Can you explain?
