no you can't Increase it. BTW who has a first/last name containing more than 35 characters ? if some one has use some abbreviations for their name

Yes, this is due to limit on number of characters. The maximum number allowed for First Name or Last Name is 35.

You will see appropriate error message when you either try to create a user with the same last name via admin console or by using just the "Create User" smart service.

when you create an appian user name fields cant contain more than 35 chars, so that's why you might be getting the error. reduce the number of characters it should work
