Please help.

RE: Start Process Smart service Vs User Input task

Thank you so much for the reply, I am a beginner in appian, and my manager asked me the question and was unable to answer it. The question was in context of memory management.

RE: Start Process Smart service Vs User Input task

Let me help you get started perhaps:

the 'Start Process smart service' is a 'smart service' (i.e. a node in an Appian process model) that starts an instance of a process model

the 'User input task' is also a 'smart service' that creates a task for a User to provide some input

a 'User input task' always has to be in a process model

not all process models have 'User input tasks'

I would strongly recommend you to go through appian documentation and Appian academy courses to understand about Appian objects and their uses.
