Thank you for the suggestion. I'm working with an older version of Appian in this instance, but DPE is absolutely something I'll consider for similar situations in the future.

If I understand it right, you are facing the task to enhance the readability. In my opinion the best way to do that is 'Dynamic Process Execution' as

I am not sure what you are trying to do exactly or why.... and you should evaluate the life and footprint of each subprocess you create to determine if it should be a subprocess or not.

But if I understand, you can create a new PM that can be called as a sub and copy the nodes you are trying to organize into the model. Make sure you are setting up the parameters and setting up the security.
