Hi Peter,

thanks for your interest. I added two screen captures, I hope it could help to answer. If not, what log would you suggest to see more details?

In the overview we can see the 'Create Folder' going just fine (of course there is an error later because we use the paramater as an input)

In the details we can see that it's considered as OK but without a value ("Changed to [null]")

I agree with opening a support case, but I'm also curious why the folder wouldn't be getting created. Have you checked the logs to see if there is an error for why it couldn't be created?

Thanks for your feedback. Indeed that's what I do now but I am not satisfied with this situation, if it's an error it should be handled as an error.

I agree, but sometimes things don't stop when you'd figure they would. Like if you have a "move document" node and accidentally pass in a folder ID of null, the target document gets moved to "no folder", is still accessible in the system but breaks certain things.

In case that node fails to create a folder and just continues, I suggest to open a support case with Appian. If it fails, it should just stop.

Add a gateway after the node checking for the value of the PV you save the created folder Id into, and if it's null (or zero), divert to an alternate flow.
