Agree. Export CDT to Excel used to be very useful, however after deprecation of the same, we are only left with this option to insert the data in staging table and then export. By the way stored procedure will be useful here for creating/truncating the staging table.

The old smart services in Excel Tools plugin allowed you to export a CDT, but they have been deprecated for several reasons.

Would it be possible for you to create a staging table with the content of that process variable? Would essentially be a database table where you store the transformed data and then use the OOTB smart service to export it, truncating the data in the table afterwards.
