I have this process model in which there is a complex node.
This node I have configured to execute all the outward flows only when it receives exactly 2 inputs ( because at no time will it receive more then 2 inputs )
But then the problem here

RE: Complex Node Does not end

This would only happen if one of the flows arrives at the AND node multiple times. If you right-click on either of the completed Script Task instances in the above screenshot's process instance, does either one have a number of instances greater than 1? That would explain it.

RE: Complex Node Does not end

thanks will do this

RE: Complex Node Does not end

I actually had implemented this approach earlier but the problem persisted ... maybe the terminate node should fix it

RE: Complex Node Does not end

Gotcha - i guess i'm on the flip side of that, i've had years in which to get used to "empty script task" being used as Merges and also, often, as "flow buoys" (items to keep flow lines well-managed and labelled, in a way that just labelling them doesn't do).

RE: Complex Node Does not end

In my eyes the OR node is just more expressive, and I do not like empty script tasks.

RE: Complex Node Does not end
use an OR gateway to join alternative flows.
