I had a quick look at the documentation

https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/24.3/process-model-object.html#alerts-tab

It does not mention that we can use an email address to send alerts to. I cannot remember that I have ever tried something like that.

Can you share the exact alert settings configuration of that model, including any constants or expressions?

there were no errors when data type of const is Text or email address, but unhandled PM errors were not sent to Distribution list configured rather sent to PM creator and last published user.

we are looking for similar kind of solution .

on Custom Alert Setting #3 :

we have tried configuring a CONST with data type as Text / Email address and have the email distribution list as values for the constant

But both data types did not work.

Is there a way to make it work?

That distribution list is defined outside of Appian. In a MS Exchange environment, this is done inside Exchange, as far as I know.

If that distribution list has an email address, you need to create an account in Appian that uses this address, then put that account into the group you send your alerts to.

Distribution List. A distribution list is one name/email address that can contain any no. Of email addresses within.
