I think what you can do here is pass the value by reference in the child process.

The below gif explains how it works.

Another way could be to use @Version in the CDT as a JPA annotation.

A scenario based Question there are two processes One is parent process and another is child process. Child process started Asynchronsly we using the same cdt in both the Processes. we are updating that cdt in both Process models. there is write to data store entity node in both how you can handle overlapping. Could you please help me.

Note: Child Process is Asynchronos

No, you can't. You will have to switch to sub-process in a process model and a!startProcessLink on an interface
