Long story short, they should not be using "browser refresh" by any means within a process flow, and need to be educated as such.

Absolutely, you're right that JavaScript isn't used in Appian-------. What I meant was to suggest a method within Appian’s own capabilities, using its interface components and logic functions, to achieve similar behavior. I am trying to understand that why user is changing the language after adding half of the information in the form. Should it not have been done before starting the process?

In my opinion it can be part of user training. Explain them to change the locale before starting any instance.

We have a main process which calls the sub-process where this chained UIT is called after many node with data manupulations. Changing this UIT to start form would be tricky.

Sure. I assume you added a process as a page in a site. This process does not use a start form but has a initial chained user input task. Correct?

If yes, get rid of that initial UIT and use the start form feature.
