is the parameter in the process model a record type?

If so, try fv!item[recordType!recordName]

Instead of calling a!startProcess in the button's saveInto, can you update any variable and check whether it's getting updated or not? This is to make sure that validation, etc. not blocking the button's event.

I have created a sample PM and trying to call in a!forEach() where button is one of the component. But PM is not getting initiated.

Basically, i have used a foreach loop in editable grid. And for each row this button is populating , so when i am clicking on button a particular row to save updated entry in DB (via process model). Its not working i.e. PM is not getting initiated.

Hi, check on the process parameters.

Either create a really simple process model with no parameters, or add a simple text variable to the existing process model and try and kick that off. It might be the record mapping.

Do the reverse engineering check the following

1. Do you have at least initiator access to the process Model.

2. Check the Constant Defined Properly and the process Model Configured Properly(Published version).

3. Check whether you are passing each Required Parameter (With Exact names)

4.Record Mappings with Source are proper

I have tried removing submit:true as well. Its not getting initiated.

Yes, i am sure, model is not getting initiated and when i checked the tomcat log file, it showed me this error. But i am confused what this error means. Can someone please guide

are you sure the model is not initiated? did you check process monitor and tomcat-stdout.log?

What's happening after clicking the button?? . when we set Submit = true, it try's to move away from current interface but it's an editable grid and the action is for the current row.Try removing it.

--edit-- Sorry , it's working fine with submit set to true. Only thing to check is, are you passing all the required process variables?

I do not see anything wrong with your code. Did you try to check the tomcat-stdout log file?
