It feels like you'll need to implement something heuristic to filter out individual files by name and/or by extension. Otherwise, when blindly given a handful of files that came through as attachments, how else is Appian supposed to programmatically make the distinction you're referring to? As far as the email file is concerned, an attachment is an attachment.

I want to get the actual attachments added to the email but not the inline attachments (i.e. sign logos, social media logos, etc)

I did not test this in the last months. And email is always painful to work with.

Seems like BodyTypes is just the mime types of the non-binary parts.

What do you try to achieve?

Still, it seems Body Types isn't the attribute to get the content types, unless I'm not understanding you well.

I'm receiving 7 inline attachments, but the bodytypes just gave me a list of 2 types, and no clue how to relate the given types with the attachments.

Do you have any other indication about where can I find the content type of the attachments as you mentioned?

Just in case, I also tried the BodyContentType and got another result that seems to me of no use for this purpose.

Did you check the BodyTypes property? I expect this to hold the content type for each of the parts.

Hi Stefan Helzle and sandhyam6767 ,

I'm facing the same challenge, and no matter how hard I've searched, I can't find a way 😭 to obtain the content type mentioned by Stefan Helzle , in any of the properties of the receive message event.

Could you give me an additional clue as to where or how I can check this content type?

I was looking here https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/25.3/Receive_Message_Event.html#email-message-type-considerations for some of the message properties.

The content type of the individual attachments would allow you to do that.
