What you mean by this? How are you performing this discard. Also if this is some kind of related data or has a context then you should save the data into the database.

that's not how things work. If you want to persist data, well, then you have to store it somewhere.

If not in a database, where are you imagining this entered data will live and for how long? Does your requirement really not allow for the use of a database to store this kind of data?
