Depends , but it's better to save the results of any node (not just this).It helps in debugging incase of anything went wrong

For now i didn't set any outputs in the smart service as i assume i don't need any for now.

Do i need to add any email output node ?

Not receiving an email can have various reasons, but does not have to mean that the email was not sent. As per the documentation, groups are supported here.

Where to you get that group from? Did you try to use togroup() to make sure Appian recognizes it correctly?

Did you check for any error messages? Did you check the email node outputs? Especially the "Valid To email addresses"?

Create constant of your group and use above expression.
