We have gotten the Tempo task to start on user login as @sidhantb suggested. I know the next part is a common issue, but is there a way to send a user to a particular page post execution?

We are running this for user data updates...we have SAML SSO enabled with creation of users on initial login, and we're finding that the 3 fields it creates the accounts for aren't enough (we really need Supervisor populated).

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@sidhantb - Thanks...

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@richard.nolan - That's a nice point actually. It is not constant across all the platforms, i.e. the server URL or domain name varies.
Suppose take below URL for example.
http://10.0.0.1:8080/suite/tempo/actions/item/xyzActionURL

We have to keep the http://10.0.0.1:8080/suite/tempo part of the URL as a constant.
Then we have split the process model URL with the suite tempo URL and concatenate with 2nd part of the splitted URL.

load(
local!splittedURL:split("http://10.0.0.1:8080/suite/tempo/actions/item/xyzActionURL","http://10.0.0.1:8080/suite/tempo"),
"http://10.0.0.1:8080/suite/tempo" & local!splittedURL[2]
)

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@prakharg - As per my knowledge, yes it is required to configure the process model as an Action otherwise you wont get a Tempo URL.
Please do share if you have any other way to achieve it.

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@sidhantb - Does the process model URL collected via Chrome stay consistent across platforms if we export the model as part of an application - or is it necessary to configure it in each location?

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

forum.appian.com/.../Quick_Links_Using_Intuitive_URLs.html

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@sidhantb, Is configuring Process Model as an Action is mandatory to get the URL?

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@mohammedz - The feature you are suggesting is "Sites" and the explanation you have given is correct.
Sites are a very good option if you want to focus on a limited set of activities.

But here there the requirement from @markshaw is he want to start a just process and which may or may not contain a user input task.
Here his requirement might be to run a batch process of some kind whenever a user logs in.
So for this scenario, the above mentioned solution might suffice.
And we need an action for sure otherwise we cannot trigger the process model.

But if you configure a Site then no process model is invoked unless you click on some submit button or submit link.

RE: There used to be a way to execute a process when a user logs in, does this facil

@prakharg - If you have opened Tempo in Google Chrome then right click on the process model and Click "Copy link address"
